Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia lost in three sets in his rain-delayed match at the SA Tennis Open on Wednesday, becoming the third player seeded in the top five to exit in the first round at Montecasino.
The No. 3 seed was beaten by unseeded Dutch player Jesse Huta Galung(Above) after rain had postponed their match with the score 3-all in the third set Tuesday.
Huta Galung squeaked by in a final-set tiebreaker, winning 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (4) in 2 hours, 43 minutes.
Israel's Dudi Sela also needed three sets to get past Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France 1-6, 7-5, 6-4 in another match held over from Tuesday.
