+Rep for you sir. I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax. The forum has become very heated over the last couple of days. I understand where both sides are coming from. All the old posters: Conan, Thrilla etc. Are annoyed because they have been on the forum for years and then some newbies come over and start enforcing rules and restrict what they would classify as normal posting on here. And the new mods are shocked by how laid back the forum is. We may have new rules enforced soon, that should clarify what is acceptable and what is not.

I think both parties need to step back and put themselves in each others shoes. I remember my first couple of days, and i remember how shocked i was, but that's just how laid back this forum is.

Just my two cents.

Thanks for the apologizes, I do think that I have been a bit strict, but that is because in my opinion the rules were their and my interpretation was to enforce them.

When I see an offtopic forum, Thats still a chat forum, Not a place for staff discussions, and so i did what i thought was right and try and stop it.

I personally do see the effect new mods/staff can do to the old users, and if you ever, and i really want to make this clear, want to badmouth me or any other staff then the place to do it, is through PMs, The Contact US link at the bottom, Or the Feedback forum. It really doens't belong here.

I hope that will not stop you from posting! I hate having only Global Mods to talk to!

i think this whole [new rules are on the way/my interpretation of the rules/im being strict] thing just flys in the face of the last umpteen years and years of this sites operation, so forgive us as well for being taken aback

ronan/thrilla/shake/me/etc are all former mods on this site!, we understand to an extent the responsibility that it brings, but also understand its relative unimportance, not to sound too harsh.

im sure everything will be fine as long as we can still talk about cocks/****s

The only real change to the rules are to make them simpler/fewer and to address the issue of posters constantly being disruptive. Basically "no fun at the expense of other posters."

Seems reasonable enough.

this site is the best because of its leniency, not in spite of it, imo
