I thought this was a little ironic. This post is dedicated to all of the France bashing union haters and conservatives in general will probably think this is funny. I love you guys :chestbump:

What will Nicolas do to stay connected to his motherland now? First one to post pics of Nic's girlfriend wins!

In non-sports news, the Portland French School is closing, reports Oregonian staffer James Mayer. The private immersion school -- with a annual tuition of up to $13,000 -- was rocked by the faculty's efforts to unionize and by falling enrollment, Mayer writes.

"It's the saddest thing I have ever been through," said Doug Cress, a parent and member of the board of the private French immersion school in the Johns Landing area of Southwest Portland. "For all the parents and the kids, it hurts. It's devastating."

Cress said a fundraising campaign will keep the school open through the end of May, meeting state requirements.

He blamed falling enrollments, accelerated by an effort last year by teachers to join a union, for the school's demise.

"We worked as hard as we could, but once we had union activity, it became apparent that it split the community right down the middle."
