The young duo in Portland has played together for four seasons now and was the seven seed in a tough Western Conference last season. They figure to contend once again with Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge leading the way.

Brandon Roy is growing into one of the best shooting guards in the NBA. He has been an All Star for 3 consecutive seasons now. If he can stay healthy he should be able to average 20 points a game at least and lead the Trail Blazers to another postseason run. His partner in crime will factor largely into that playoff push as well.

LaMarcus Aldridge is one of the young premier power forwards in the Western Conference. The Trail Blazers did not make any significant moves in the offseason, but if Greg Oden stays healthy to alleviate some of the pressure applied on Aldridge in the post, Aldridge’s game will soar to new heights. Although he is still an exceptional power forward by himself, Oden’s health also plays a factor in drawing away a defender.
