Yeah… a bit of a sleeper pick but I liked him even when I was a kid. Kareem was retired by the time I started watching the NBA, and David Robinson was the best center in the league in 1990 (imho)David Robinson?
LeBron is clearly #1 if ranking with longevity.Wow! I have a hard time with any of these lists that don't have LeBron on them. For me it's a fact that MJ and LeBron are on one tier that is pretty far above the next tier down.
The LeBron hate from some of the people in this forum is strong.
Hard disagree. Mamba was on the same tier as Lebron.Wow! I have a hard time with any of these lists that don't have LeBron on them. For me it's a fact that MJ and LeBron are on one tier that is pretty far above the next tier down.

Sounds like some biased hatred. Go watch his games again. Very similar to MJ.Kobe is a joke. Only statistical category he's ever led in is missed shots.
He was a great SG just like Dwayne Wade and possibly belongs in the top 30. Laughable people have him in the top 5. If he played in Indiana instead of LA he'd basically have Reggie Miller career.
Annnd, id take that lineup against almost any five put together.MJ/Lebron/Wilt/Kobe/Russel
If you take out longevity the list becomes next to impossible to make. Greatness in sports in my opinion is sustained excellence over time.LeBron is clearly #1 if ranking with longevity.
If your talking about peak season the list gets really hard as so many guys had a very dominant season. There might be a case for Walton over LeBron.
