I guess he got into a testy conversation on facebook with a member of the LGBTQ+ community who apparently tried to extort him for negative comments.

Closures includes the Tasty and Sons/Daughter and Toro Bravo. Groundbreaking Portland restaurants.

Some restaurants have been sold and will stay:

I read about it a week ago or so. Yeah, it could be for sure the person was trolling him, but he definitely took the bait and escalated significantly. Now, as I understood it, his business suffered some significant damages in the protest, so he was pissed-off. The lesson is don't get in a public feud with somebody who has a lot less to lose than you

Whew. Ran here as fast as I could. This is the real jlprk. I have been notified by my automatic malware discoverer thingie that my account has been breached. I would NEVER consult the evil legal system. Please disregard anything the hacker wrote.

Hopefully Gorman gets the fuck out of Portland so he can enjoy his life. Move to Spain. Slower pace of life.

Lawyers are awesome, as a long as they are assholes and are on your side. Although paying 100 bucks for a 15 minute phone call or them reading your email isn't that fun.

A lawyer will work against your goal in opposition to why you hired him, repeatedly pretend that you haven't protested, demand that you surrender to his strategy to accomplish his goal not yours, fire you as a client when it comes to anger, take you to court to collect $10,000 for the privilege, later find that he overcharged, then make you look like a thief for receiving the partial refund without his notifying the other parties. I have a half-dozen diverse stories just as bad.

I believe the lesson here is don't start a business in a Democrat-controlled shithole city that destroys everything nice and welcoming about itself.
