<font color=""Navy"">Nets Keys to the Game
Contain Bosh- He is the Raptors best player and he is their first option. If the Nets manage to slow him down, this will cause problems for the Raptors. They will need to find someone on the lineup or bench to go to instead. Bosh is the Nets first priority.

Go Inside- The Nets should take less jumpshots and look for shots inside. It is better to go inside and try to draw fouls. Raptors don't have the best center, which makes it better for the Nets. The Nets should take open jumpshots but try to go inside for most of the game.

Bench production- Nets bench has been playing good and they should continue. They need to score instead of just keeping the game close. This year's bench is meant to score and not buy time for the starters.

<font color=""Purple"">Raptors Keys to the Game

Jalen Rose- The man has lost his starting spot but that doesn't mean he should play worse. He is a great player and the Raptors will need him to come off the bench and score points for them. He should show that he deserves the starting spot.

Control the Tempo- The Raptors are not playing at home but this is a key for them. They should try their best to keep the crowd out of the game, because that's something that gives the Nets extra energy.

Offense- The Raptors will need to try to score or draw fouls on every play. If they don't the Nets could gain a big lead and the Raptors won't be able to come back. If they miss a shot, they should come back on defense to prevent a fastbreak by the Nets. They will need to just play with great intensity on offense.

I think this will be a pretty easy game for the Nets. Raptors don't have a lot of confidence which I think the Nets will take advantage of. Nets at least by 8

i gotta agree with you on this one
raps just dont have enough firepower

Nets by 10+

Are you kidding me? They got Hoffa. I expect him to own the New Jersey posts.

Are you serious? These are his stats

Team G GS MPG FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% FTM-A FT% OFF DEF TOT APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
TOR 15 8 10.0 17-38 .447 0-1 .000 3-8 .375 .8 1.5 2.3 .1 .33 .00 .93 1.70 2.5

Yeah, even Collins is much better than Hoffa. This game should be easy for the Nets, and they should add some momentum for the next couple of games.

Lol guys I was just joking. I live in Canada, so I'm a pretty big Raps fan. Hoffa is kind of a running joke amongst Raps fans. You're right, I expect Krstic to get the foul-prone Hoffa into trouble early, and I think JC will do a pretty good job on Bosh. The Raps have no answer for VC or RJ, I expect us to win this one easily.

Ummm...I was not able to watch this game, so can someone tell me what happen to Vince? In the fifteen minutes that he played, he was off to a very good start. Did he get injured?

I got one thing to say "WTF!?" How do we lose to the Raptors by 13 pts. How awful is that. You lose to a 2-15 team. That's just embarrassing. Makes you kind of think, do we need a change? Just an awful game!

2-15 teams can be dangerous
and i dont think we are that bad
we just dont have that much leadership since we are a young team

Yea but the Nets should of fun with no problem. AT least by 5.

true and no offense
but Collins sucks
why is he starting for you guys

Tell me who should start. He gives us little things that no other PF on our team does. If we had Shareef then it would be a different story. Oh well past is past.

Quoting PlaTsanity:

cliff?
cant marc jackson start aswell?

They seem better but they don't give the things that Collins. Jackson doesn't play great defense and Cliff is a reserve and isn't the answer to the problem

Not to mention that Cliff can't rebound for his life.

Personally I would love for Milt Palacio to start as center.

This is a huge wake up call for the Nets. Even though Mo Pete was on fire tonight, the defense still was atrocious, and Nets management should be arranging a trade as of this moment. Letting go of Padgett, Murray, or Planinic for some defense should be taken into consideration. Hey, if the Celtics let go of Allen, I think we should take the risk and pick him up. He's having legal problems, but he's a good defender who's athletic and can run the floor. And btw, what happened with Kerry Kittles?

I don't know where Kittles is. HE isn't even on the player list on NBA.com. As for Allen, I like him but we need a big man instead of another wing player.

Kittles is done with the NBA
he had a career-ending injury last season

That's really sad. I always loved seeing him play with JKidd. He was a great player and seemed like a good guy.
