Well what about this trade then? I think you have to consider it if Rudy wants out.
Martell, Outlaw, Blake, Rudy, and the Ike Diogu trade exception for Harris and Bobby Simmons (10 mill contract 2 years I think actually expires 2010).
I had to use Shavlik and Ruffin to simulate the trade exception as it's not working for some reason.
Alternately you can add in Bayless instead of Martell but that would leave us awfully thing at SG.
You could also take CDR instead of Bobby Simmons but you would have to rework the trade. As it stands this is your lineup:
PG Harris/Bayless/Mills
SG Roy/Bayless
SF Hedo/Batum
PF LMA/Pendergraph
C Oden/Przybilla
Here is an alternate version picking up CDR, Najera and Yi Jianlian.
PG Harris/Bayless/Mills
SG Roy/CDR
SF Hedo/Batum
PF LMA/Najera/Yi
C Oden/Przybilla
Adding Yi to our team might not be a bad idea as we would get alot of Chinese fans even if he sits on the bench.
Here is an alternative trade where we throw in Bayless.
This would leave us ultra thin at point and we might need to either keep Blake or sign a cheap FA veteran PG. I included this one as it is more of an inducement for New Jersey (Brooklyn?)
PG Harris/Mills/Roy
SG Roy/CDR
SF Hedo/Batum
PF LMA/Najera/Yi
C Oden/Przybilla
On New Jersey's (Brooklyn's?) side the final trade looks pretty good in 2010/2011
PG Bayless
SG Rudy
SF LeBron
PF R. Anderson
C Brook Lopez
That's a pretty dangerous lineup especially if you add another big FA along with LeBron. Bosh at PF? That's easily the favorite for the ECF.
Thoughts?
