wes and batum? hell no. he'll break down on us asked to be a full time 35 MPG starter.
I mentioned in another thread though that trying to S&T for him could be our pippen type of trade, but I imagine with Bosh re-upping in Miami, he'll just stay there, and they'll carry on together as a 5th/6th seed in the east.

I also kinda feel this way, but with less vehemence. When he's fully healthy, he's still a good (not great) player. But he now annually breaks down, at which point he's pretty terrible. And as he ages, he's only going to break down more often.

As an impact player, I pretty much consider him done. He can still give you flash games, but I wouldn't trade much of value for him...and I wouldn't even take him for free if he gets a deal anywhere near the max.

It is sad that his knees are shot but that is life. I wouldn't trade much if anything for him.

Don't be surprised with the lack of what the Lakers have gotten accomplished this offseason that his name surfaces in trade rumors and don't be surprised if it surfaces here.

Kobes got a no trade clause and unless he goes to a contender, which seems just laughable that anyone could trade for his salary and still he considered a contender, he isnt going anywhere.
