First off, this trade is going to look a little weak from the Blazers side, but I think that it actually makes some sense and would help both teams.
Trade
Portland trades:
Steve Blake
Travis Outlaw
Philadelphia trades:
Andre Miller

Why for Philadelphia
They are in 10th place in the east and need to shake things up if they are going to make the playoffs. And if they don't make the playoffs, at least the get something nice for their future in exchange for an expiring contract. Blake can play the point there replacing Miller, and Outlaw will really help them.
Why for Portland
They get a good PG vet to help control and get the right people the ball. He is better than Blake and will help keep the opposing PG's from killing us on the perimeter. With Webster, Batum, Rudy et al, I think that the Blazers would be fine without Outlaw. Then, at the end of the year, the Blazers could make a decision to either resign Miller to a smaller contract, or have his 10 mil come off the book along with Raef's, and really allow KP lots of room to do the voodoo that he do. If KP thinks that Bayless and Sergio can man the PG spot in the future, then not resigning Miller would be real easy.
P.S. If you see this trade on another Blazer board, I did that by mistake, I should just delete the hyperlink.
