OKC trades Jeff Green and Krystic to HOU
OKC gets Camby from POR

HOU sends Brooks and Jeffries to POR
HOU gets Jeff Green and Krystic

POR sends Camby to OKC
POR receives Brooks and Jeffries

No contracts longer than this yr and next, I think everyone gets fair value and what they need

I'm sure Daryl Morey and Sam Presti will be all over this

Because someone who really overvalues our players proposed the trade. Don't you know how this all works?

or Green is gone and won't be resigned and they need a C badly, Camby gets them closer now and is a great mentor for the two young C's they have

OKC would become so much better if they did this. Green is their starting PF and he averages ~5 rebounds a game, and routinely gets killed on the boards. He's not so hot on offense either.

Although Camby is much older than the rest of their players, he'd help them immensely this year in the playoffs, and eventually develop Ibaka into a better player.

yeah, but some of these guys can't or won't look past their fat asses, it's too difficult for them

i dont think jeff green will be resigned there anyway

Sorry, but a GM would be insane to trade Green and Krystic for a 36 year old injury prone player who said he would contemplate retiring if moved somewhere besides NY. OKC still wouldn't be good enough to win a title this season with that trade, so why waste those two assets?

really? Green is gone this summer, they won't resign him, Krystic is a throw in, they need D and rebounding badly, Camby gives then a chance now to compete and go further in the playoffs, he has only one more year after this, and is a great mentor for their young guys. I think the guy who is crazy is you.

I agree with you about Green, but I'm not sure trading him for Camby would be the best idea. They need to retool, not add the missing piece. I think they should definately move Green, but I think they should, and will get a pick for him.

hypothetical, but if batum was in his last year, would you trade him for an injury prone center that didn't want to play for you? Also knowing it wouldn't put you over the top?

Camby might actually put them from "playoff team" to "almost contender". The really weak part of OKC is there rebounding and thats one thing Camby does extremely well. There losing Green this year and Krystic is not very good. Camby would give them an upgrade at the position tell Aldrich gets some seasoning under his belt. The deal is very good for OKC but i'm not a fan of it.
