I'd do it in a second!!!

Hinrich | Bayless
Roy | Rudy
Batum | Outlaw
Aldridge | Outlaw
Oden | Przybilla

Solid, non-jammed 9-man rotation until Webs comes back, but i'm having my doubts of his return this year.

Edit - oh I thought you said Frye not Outlaw... hmmm, tougher because Trout's versatility allows us to play a 9-man rotation.

Fix either the thread title or the question.

Frye? Yes. Outlaw? Not unless it's a larger trade and you give us Deng.

They have Rose. Why would they trade for Sergio and Blake? Doesn't make sense to me.

Frye = "would you like a few million in cash considerations to go with your frye-s?"
Outlaw= "Throw in Sefalosha and we can talk"

So to answer your question: I'd help Frye pack his bags and drive him to the airport, and if it's Outlaw I'd say you've got my attention, but we need a little extra something coming back; losing Outlaw takes away a lot of our offense.

Consolidation, paves the way for Bayless to step in with a solid place-holder in the mean-time. I'd probably do it.

No. And I like Kirk a lot. I would be in favor of adding Kirk, but only if we're keeping Blake. A tandem of Hinrich and Blake would be sweet. Kirk's defense and toughness with the starters and Blake's sure handedness and shooting off the bench.

Replace Sergio with Steve and you've got a deal.

I would actually pay money to NOT see Hinrich as a Blazer.

Contract dump. Blake and Frye are expiring contracts.

Blake could re-sign with us this summer. :)

As others have said: Frye/Sergio/Blake? Yes. Frye/Outlaw/Blake? No... unless we have another deal where we acquire a solid small forward for the RLEC.

Not with Outlaw, that's too much to give up. With Frye, probably yes.

I'm also in the Frye-yes/Outlaw-no camp.

If the Bulls traded for him to cut salary, they might not.

That's true, but if you were the Bulls, would you rather have Blake or Sergio? I think they'd hold onto Blake, simply because he's a vet and he has a decent salary.

Isn't Sergio's contract guaranteed? I'm pretty sure it is. It's not a matter of either/or... it's a matter of savings or not in the aftermath of this hypothetical...

I guess I conveniently forgot that Sergio is around for another year... :sigh:

Dang it, I can't believe I screwed up the poll. I'm not smart. :)

I meant Frye!

I'm going to edit the poll. If anyone wants to change their vote, just lemme know.

My general line of thinking is that if the Bulls trade for Amare, as is speculated, they'll need two things, a bit of cap relief and depth. Blake and Rodriguez are depth. Basically I figure the Bulls would need both to make the trade work financially, and then we let Blake walk for cap relief. Honestly, if the trade rules were met by taking Diogu, I'd be perfectly willing to take him instead. We keep Sergio as a cheap backup for Rose next year. Should fit the system well.

Frye, well, no, I'm not enthusiastic, but a cheap big with a jumper would be useful next to Amare, and we're going to need depth. And cap relief. Did I mention cap space?

For the Blazers, well, you get a quality guard at a rock bottom price.

I'm for it. I like Kirk. I think he would fit in swimmingly.

Phelps seems like he's more of a Sheed/Damon/Jailblazers sort of guy :P
