Yeah that could push them to title favorites next season. After LBJ it just depends on how long AD's got. An offense based around a Trae/AD P&R with some three and D guys around them who can also cut off the ball could be very good for a handful more years.Lakers actually do make sense, have pretty good defense, great size, and could use more dynamic scoring.
Just question how long that team will be contending as James will be 40 in a few months. I guess Trae could fill up seats even if they transition to a rebuild.
If there were a way to bet against the Blazers landing him I'd do that... can't see anyway that makes sense. I guess hard to rule out stupid decisions from our management and especially ownership/Vulcan.

So in other words... fuck that, the Lakers can wither on the vine. Let LeBron leave them in shambles. Fingers crossed. Oh and I'm not even specifically a Lakers hater I'm an equal opportunity hater so I hope Trae goes wherever he can play the most entertaining ball and not push a team to contending status.
An entire Trae young thread….. outstanding work.
Sounds like Trae wants to be more of a robin type player here which might fit better with Ayton?
This move first please.and commissioner Gordon.
