Olympic Track and Field Trials....... til like July 2nd. 3rd straight year I'm working on drat day! It's impossible to try and follow along with all the news, but I'm gonna try.

Hey, I'm in a track meet also! Mrs HCP & I are taking a few laps together.
 
So it says the party starts at 3pm. Any guess what time the number 6 draft will be happening? Obviously if we trade up, we'll be hearing sooner.
 
I wasn't there, but sent Mike & Mike a box of brownies.

Sorry, folks, there will be no goodies from me at this draft party. You want cookies, come to my house & watch with me.
 
Wow, I was just going to post that I'm going to the draft party but going to Crandc's and eating homemade bake goods sounds a lot more fun.

Oh well. So who all is going and where do you guys want to meet up at?

Not going to get off work in time for the drive up, otherwise I'd love to meet up with you. When I went to the Oden draft party at the RG the Blazers talking heads provided really shitty draft coverage to those in attendance, IMO. It was all Blazers all the time, which was pretty boring. I had no clue what was going on in the rest of the draft. The draft is like a holiday for me. I'd rather go to a draft party someplace where you can actually follow the actual draft, and not be confined to the Mike's and Harvey show all night. Maybe it will be different this year I don't know. Doesn't matter anyway. I'll be enjoying the draft from the comfort of my couch. Next year!

I'm going to meeet a couple of friends at Widmer's at 3pm and then after a few beers we're going to the RG. You should join us either at Widmer's or the RG.

Oh well, it would have been nice to finally meet you.

I know what you mean about more info at home but I get most of my NBA news now off of Twitter. I will be a lot easier keeping up on what's happening now then it was during the Oden draft.
