Truitt Brothers recalls Kraft pasta-beef products

On Jan. 19, Truitt Brothers Inc., an East Bernstadt, Ky.-based company, issued a recall of approximately 1.77 million lbs. of Kraft Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Singles Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac products, which include shelf-stable pasta and ground beef because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen. Officials say the products are made with hydrolyzed soy protein and dried soy sauce, which are known allergens that are not declared on some labels.
