Ummmm, last I read China was pimping out our post office.

Family coming today and this morning the magnetron in our expensive ass GE cafe microwave breaks. Called the two big appliance stores in town and they don't have it and it will be almost 70 bucks. They would have to order it and it would take 3 days.

Find the part number and search Amazon. 44 bucks and free one day shipping.

I tried to use a brick and mortar store but fuck....

It jump out at your every other day now! Those tilt up stores just can't do it. You can try to use them but damn it's hard.
They probably got the shit you need in there, but no system, no one with a clue where to look, if you can even communicate with them.

Fuck it life is too short to use them anymore. Harbor Freight, Newegg, Ebay, and Amazon. That's where stuff comes from.

Family flying in tonight and 700 dollar 2 year old microwave dies this morning. Could have been fixed today but noooo.

I'll fix it tomorrow when the part gets here instead of Wednesday and pay much less.

By the way, Amazon doesn't ship everything by the US Postal Service. I bought several items from Amazon and they all came one by one from, now I forget, it was either Fed. Ex. or UPS.

Items included a Zwilling Henckel knife set, some jars of Bubbies' pickles, a cold press for coffee and a coffee grinder. Oh yeah, a pepper grinder was included in one of those packages.

This is strange because postage use to be at the domestic rate until it reached the U.S. at which time it was shipped the rest of the way at the U.S. rate. How did that get changed and why are the two questions that pop into my mind.
