Seems like an acceptable idea. I sure as hell do not want to dispute the idea. I suppose if the EU members want to dispute the idea, we could watch.

military invasion of a sovereign nation seems acceptable to you? wow

If you and yours and a gang of liberal righteous souls want to go mend a wrong, I would root for you.
But I truly do not think America needs to spend any of young and eager on this affront. But I suppose the Ukranian might find a place for you eager volunteers though.

That sounds as absurd as Trumps' diplomatic comment about Trudeau being weak. The jerk dissed Trudeau and he also insulted Canada.

When asked about forging ties by G7 members Trump probably said, " Ties? I've been forging ties and selling them for decades....fabulous ties...red ties, blue ties, striped ties, ties with my picture on them"....I know about ties!

It is a fact that the majority of Crimea's citizens are Russians, born in Crimea before it recently separated from the Soviet Union in 1991. Crimea was a part of the Russian Empire all the way back to 1783.

Once again, President Trump's superior knowledge of world affairs exposes the lies of Fake allies.

Presenting facts against U.S. State Dept. propaganda will get you nowhere in this thread, with its high school level of sophistication. I'm not going to try. Reading this thread reminds me of how many dumbo slaves to the State Dept. are on this board.

>>> These little points you try to make seem to be self evident in your mind. But I do not think they are at all
The Crimea has not been independent for 27 years. It is populated with Russians. It has been part of Russia for over 300 year. In 1954 the Soviet Union attached the Crimea to the Ukraine
for reason of theirs, but it made little difference since they were both part of the USSR. When Ukraine broke away from the Old USSR 27 years ago, the difference is now real. Damned I want to fight this battle.
I don't think you do either.

.England can take back the US anytime with the same logic..
>>> uh! No.

.China can take Taiwan,
>>> As I recall, there is no need to take it back. The Chinese already claim it and I think it was Carter that agreed. I spent a considerable amount of time on those campaigns only to have a US
President give it up anyway.

Spain can take back Mexico,
>>> uh, No. I imagine the Mexican would seriously reject the idea.

France can take back Quebec..
>>> uh, No. I imagine the Canadians would seriously reject the idea.

.those pesky college graduates can make some noise....everybody knows after the senior hs prom it's all downhill
>>> There may be some hidden logic here, hey?

they were both part of the USSR.
yeah...welcome to modern history...the USSR doesn't exist anymore.....we're also no longer 13 colonies here either...c'mon Marz…..sovereign states can be very young but they are still sovereign states and the Taiwanese do not recognize China as their govt...don't even use the same currency ..have their own army.democratic elections...Taiwan is more interested in economics than war. Heavy investors in mainland China

the USSR doesn't exist anymore

have their own army.democratic elections.

Yes River my friend. You are right in this this statement about the USSR and the one about current Taiwan today.

But do you know whether the people of Crimea want to be Ukrainian or Russian? I don't for sure but I don't know that they did not get their way, do you?

I my days in Taiwan, quite sometime before you were there, the Taiwan natives did not want US there. They did not want the Chinese there. Did they get democratic elections? Naw
A vote today is a different deal. But in either case, not my fight. Nor is the Crimea.
