18 for me.

damn really...I could hear 15 perfectly fine and was very confident I would hear 16 and....nothing :sigh:

I was actually surprised I went up to 15 with all the concerts and jamming on guitar ive done in my life

I got all the way up to 14.

Can't say I'm surprised, I have been listening to walkmans, portable cd players, and mp3 players everyday, for hours a day, since I was little. Not to mention that I like my music loud, so some hearing loss was bound to happen.

18 KHz....

Just did it again and got up to 22 this time. I must have had my speakers turned down the first time.

I don't listen to much loud music so my hearing is fine. I heard everything although 22 was a bit faint I guess.

I had max volume though, that could have inflated my results, dunno. :)

I could hear 12K, could not hear 14K.

But I'm old.

15, which is a surprise to me since I used to DJ in some clubs. I thought my hearing was actually worse than that.

19.. thought it would be worse. I listen to the tv loud beacuse I can't hear it and I can never hear what people say to me.

The thing is, some sound cards cannot handle up to 22kHz. It might not be a problem of hearing but an on-board sound card.

crap i got 16 faintly and then 17 was like listening to a severed hooker head. silence.

I can hear 17 great, and maybe 18, but not confidently enough to count it.

I heard all of them when I did this the other day, but I think 16 or 17 was pretty quiet to me. I have one air tool at work that has a small leak that makes a whiny sound but nobody I work with can even hear it. It drives me crazy. I always wear large 3m brand ear covers instead of foam ear plugs at work.

When I went to concerts when I was younger I always used ear plugs just to cut the volume down to an enjoyable level.

I guess it has paid off.
