LHP - C.C. Sabathia (3-3, 2.83 ERA)

VS.

LHP - J.A. Happ (6-2, 3.20 ERA)

NOTE: Yesterday marked the 21st time in 50 games that saw the Yankees score 2 runs or less. Most in the AL.

Lineups to follow...........

Alex Rodriguez is not in the Starting Lineup as per Meredith Marakovits.

TONIGHT'S STARTING LINEUP...........

CF - Ellsbury (280)
RF - Refsnyder (250)
1B - Teixeira (195) (Yeah, lets get tex as many ABs as possible)
DH - Beltran (264)
2B - Castro (250)
3B - Headley (229)
C - Romine (314)
SS - Gregorius (261)
LF - Hicks (198)

I realize I'm not the genius that Girardi is BUT...........if it were up to me I'd flip-flop Teixeira with Romine.

Dustin Ackley will have Season Ending Surgery on his Torn Labrum as per Sweeny Murti.

They have Chris Parmalee down there also who has been basically splitting time with Swisher. I read that they might be more inclined to bring him up instead of Swisher.

Parmalee would probably be the lesser of the two evils. Swisher has more defects than a new Chevy himself plus his performance in the minors is somewhat lacking. Don't need his val girl vocab around this group.

^^^lol...yeah, I was never a fan of his "Aww man" mentality when he was with the Yanx.

29-29 Pitches out of Happ, and nothing to show for it, gonna' be a long night...

Yanks 3-4 on this 20G 20day schedule - so far 1-3 vs Toronto in same stretch.
Good test for Yanks and the SP.....could get late very early....or, ...ah shit, nevermind.

When I look at the difference b/t Parm and Swisher's 'Rail Riders' numbers, I'd take Parm, he's been a bit more productive, yet has a ways to go, for a 10 yr Minor Lg Vet....

With Judge on the same team, I wonder how easy he could be converted to 1st base, (on a part time basis, even if its years down the road); with those long legs and arms. But then, we've got Bird....

still, why not work Judge at 1st, now and then, for years down the road...when Bird need's a spell....if that's the case for Bird...

Parmalee, drafted 20th, in the 1st round of 06 by the Twinkies, What a Draft Year:

1st round - picks prior:
Longoria -3rd
A. Miller -6th
Kershaw -7th
Lincecum -10th
Mad Max -11th

1st round- Afterwards-picks after Parmalee:
Conger
Huff
C. Rasmus
Jobba the Hutt

2nd round

Tillman
Locke
a bunch more nobodies follows in further rounds....

Yeesh, learn something new every day.
That son of a bitch Girardi.....he keeps running Gardner out there batting 2nd and .163 vs LHP while he's had Gregorius batting .356 vs LHP buried in the 8th spot.
This team needs all the help it can get and shouldn't be standing pat with anything....not while they're floundering next to last in scoring.

2 on, none out, 1 run ^%^$%$%^%$^&%^%*^&**&((*!!!!!!!!!!!!!

doing what they do best, NOTHING- strand runners, leave men on base, especially those in scoring position....maybe they're all daydreaming of the year to come, when this team sheds its 100 Million $$$ weight...

Tex is dreaming of eating a Watermelon, lord knows he can't hit one...

Headley's replaying Little Lg games in his head, those he got a hit in...

A-Roid, "when can I get my next batch of masked and juiced gummies"....

Gardner- "I'm going to be the next Yankee Great Captain", "I'm going to grow up and be the next Derek Jeter, and make Mama and Babe Ruth Proud"....(Mom off in the distance calling: Brettly come and take your Ritalin)....

McCann, I can't wait to grow my beard back, hair too...? I miss the Sampson Complex... (1 of the last guys I wan't to pick on or fk with)...

Ellsbury, "damned, I wish they'd build a replica (Cheers) Bar, like the one under the Green Monster"... "I miss my in b/t inning beers, then Manny had to go and blow it for everyone"...

Beltran- No soy viejo puto cucaracha

that last pitch was definitely "Smoaked" ....

CC's seems to of found his Taco to Coca-Cola balance, thus far this year, or maybe we've just come to expect less, to be impressed more...

Bird is the future 1b (why not) until he shows he can't do it. imo

I'm still hoping against hope the Yanks will finally give Refsnyder at least a "full" season probably as the main utility man. Refsnyder has hit well wherever and whenever he's been called upon including a few 46 ABs last year and you would think they want to find out about him.
The jerks should've already given him some time at 1b at AAA...Cone even said as much during tonights game.
He could be a big improvement over what the Yanks have recently had backing up a couple of positions and giving guys days off - only one way to find out.

I'd play as many young guys as possible as often as possible.

Remember Vic, they currently do not have a backup 1st baseman.

Joe ASSHOLE its 80 pitches, WTF is wrong with you. Enough with the over managing bullshit. 65 pitches, 85 pitches, 70 pitches. If they're pitching well & have a low pitch count, let them alone.

I smell another nice pitching performance wasted.
