RHP - Shane Greene 4-1 3.09 ERA vs. RHP - Joe Kelly 2-3 4.14 ERA

Tonight's lineup.....................

Ellsbury
Jeter
Gardner
Teixeira
Beltran
McCann
Prado
Headley
Cervelli

So, who really is excited about watching these 2 teams play each other?
OH yeah...........rspn. LOL at all that crap..........

Holy shit that didn't take long, down 2-zip before they even come to bat.

I have to admit it's getting flat out boring to watch at this point.

We're in the process of a major ass whooping. Top 3 down 6-0 already.

Prado goes yard 6-1, I wish we had this kid from the beginning of the season. He reminds me as a player from those 90s teams.

So much for getting one back, another (3) HR from the Sox. Now 7-1

Down 7-1 in the fourth to a crap team that gives up against everyone except the Yankees.

...down 6 runs...Tex still trying to pull it through the shift...team player.

If this is what we're going to get from Tex for the remainder of his contract Joe has to seriously consider dropping him down in the order.

HOLY SHIT! Did I just see right? after a Beltran single McCann laid down a bunt to beat the shift. Hey Tex, were you paying attention?

Yankees run themselves out of what could have been a big inning. Compliments of Beltran.

Well bases loaded only one out, lets see what happens. C'mon Cervelli.

Beltran and his walker could only make it to third with lots of hesitation I between.

Walked in a run, 7-2 still bases loaded with one out. Its up now to Ellsbury.

Lined out. its up to Jeter. Damn is he due. this should be an infield single by Jeter on just pure hustle. and a 7-3 score. YES! now its up to Gardner.

Gardner better not watch pitches right down the middle here.

Way to go Gardner. And make a complete ass of yourself on top of it. Keep watching those pitches.

...and THAT is why Gardner should not be considered as a lead off hitter.

...strikes out way too much.

In fairness the pitch was outside but getting thrown out doesn't help.

Somebody wake Beltran up and tell him walk home.

...they were down 6 runs, no reason to take unnecessary chances in that situation. Could he have scored?...maybe, but Prado never even looked at 2B....ultimately, it was Prado's fault for assuming and not looking.

In fairness the pitch was outside but getting thrown out doesn't help.

...he had already struck out twice earlier...and watched good pitches go by...the last pitch may have been outside but it was too close to take with a 2 strike count.
