According to reports, eyewitnesses saw a large explosion in Huraytan, northern Syria, while three fighter jets were hovering above.

One journalist tweeted that three Turkish planes were responding to "mysterious" lock-ons from Mig-29 jets, which are used by Putin's forces.

Express.co.uk has contacted the Turkish government and the Russian military but neither could be reached for comment.

Funny that nobody else is reporting this. Too big a story to just ignore - unless it is total BS.
 
Maybe it was just a matter that a big old gobbler had gotten sucked into a Russian jet engine......
 
This happened yesterday and no major US news outlet mentions it while every rightwing blogger and everywhere else in the world it's the top headline.

Not FOX, MSNBC, HUFFINGTON, ABC, CBS... not even a mention anywhere.

It's clear a government blackout of the story has been ordered and obeyed.

To what end?
 
If Russia fires on Turkey, we and all of NATO are at war with Russia.

Seems like a top headline.
 
It hasn't been independently confirmed by any reputable outlet. And not just in the US. I haven't seen it on the major European news services either. The fact that it's only been on "rightwing blogs" should give you a hint that there's probably some major tinfoil involved. Their sources only seem to be random people on Twitter.

You can take your pick, the first link was from 2014 but others , 7 hours ago..I heard it on the TV news my wife listens to..it's not an unknown story

He had to. Syria was the only spot he had in the middle east. If this pans out, he can move along and get Iraq and Libya as well, controlling the pipeline for oil. It also seems Iran has allied with him.

Whatever the case, I think America should just pull out and only support Israel and the Saudis
