I've recently found this to be an extremely addictive site. It started as a wiki of standard tropes (devices) used in TV shows. It's expanded and expanded to incorporate common phenomena (like bastardization of history or science to fit the plot) and gone beyond just TV to include pretty much all pop culture.
Start with any random entry (like, for example, this one: Critical Research Failure) and you'll notice all the links within the description of it to related entries. I find that this has created, for me and others I know, a tab explosion. Most entries are well-written and it really does deconstruct pop culture, especially narrative pop culture (TV, books, film) nicely.
