I guess they were the mystery team. I was hoping the Yankees would sign him but knew that was a long shot.

Speaking of the Twins did anyone notice Hughes went back to being himself against the Stros?
He was never coming here. The Yankees have enough guys in the DH spot.
Finally an end to the Drew/Morales Speculation Show.

I keep forgetting how great Soriano is doing.
Yes, but that because Kevin Long and Joe Girardi are mishandling him. :rolleyes
Easy now Tom you're talking about one of the best managers in the game. And I'm sure Long has done what he could. Sometimes age just catches up with you like in the case of Soriano.
...Yanx don't need a another part time DH.
Yeah but running a MLB team is just like fantasy baseball, video games and E-Trade, right?

Ah the blissful days of Atari....!
Painful years actually, in comparison to today's tech...!

...lol...it's apparent that your point was lost on someone.
Speaking of Soriano I notice that the Yankees put that old goat Ichiro out there in right. Got a timely hit, stole a base, got to third, and then left him out there. As far as I'm concerned they can leave Ichiro in there, dude has some sack.
No I think Rob understood, he was just making light of the topic. Some of us do that occasionally.
...^^^ yup, and the thing about it, you can't even use the excuse about platooning Ichiro and Soriano as a "lefty/righty" platoon because in reality, Ichiro hits lefties better than he does righties. ( career .330 vs LHers vs .314 vs RHers )...not to mention that he's light years better defensively than Soriano...and Ichiro is still a speedy base runner.
... sorry, but no, I was not referring to "Rob".
Rob is the one that made the initial video game reference to Tom's post.
Alright that does it, I'm putting out an ATB to recover your sense of humor.
