My friend shot my other friend in the ass with a BB gun while he was taking a shit in the bushes out at Hagg Lake when we were in high school. Sounds like that place has really gone downhill.

Two Washington County deputies were shot Thursday evening outside of Gaston, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The sheriff’s office tweeted that an air ambulance was on its way to the scene. Officials said a suspect is in custody and there is no longer a threat to the area. The deputies’ conditions were not immediately released.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian van Kleef said the incident happened after a man was found stealing guns from a home on Scoggins Valley Road.

Two Washington County deputies were shot Thursday evening near Hagg Lake outside of Gaston, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Officials said a suspect is in custody and there is no longer a threat to the area. One deputy has non-life-threatening injuries, and a second has serious injuries but his prognosis is encouraging, the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect was also shot, officials said. Details about his condition were not immediately available.

A news conference with Sheriff Pat Garrett will be held later tonight at OHSU Hospital.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian van Kleef said the incident happened after a man was found stealing guns from a home on Scoggins Valley Road. He said the man walked up to a rural property near Hagg Lake, stole two guns and walked into the woods. Police were then called.

I know someone who lives really close to where this happened. kind of concerned for her as she’s almost 70. I hope she’s alright.

I use to work with a lady at Tektronix whose last name was Scoggins and she lived in Hillsboro. I wonder if that road was named after her family name. Okay, off topic but my curiosity is piqued.
