Underrated or Overrated?

I'm not so sure if I can start threads in this section but here goes...This game is farely simple and pretty logic. I say a player's name and the next person indicates whether the player is underrated or overrated and then he/she says another name. I'll start us off with one....Paul Pierce

Underrated. He does so much more than people give him credit for. Played half the season hurt, and still had his best season, highest PPG, great FG %, and good rebounding/assists avgs. while leading this young team. Drew Gooden?

Overrated, this kid still hasnt proven anything in the league...too high of a draft pick. Tim Thomas

underated tim thomas has become a more than decent player with the pheonix suns,in the playoffs this year he proved he was a good player and hit 3s as if they were layups Andre Miller

Underrated, he is a very good player coming off the bench and can make really big shots as of late. Yet, he can give you 14 points a night. Barbosa doesn't get his name mentioned as much.Jermaine O'Neal

Underrated, I feel he isnt talked about enough when we're discussing about top PFs in the league: KG, TD, Amare, Dirk, Brand, Howard, etc...he's sometimes left out in those discussions.

i think melo is kind of underated i mean some people probaly think hes overated but he has led his team to the playoffs in every year since hes been in the leagueVince carter

Underrated, the only time he really gets credit is for a freaking Top 10 play. He is still one of the most lethal wings in the NBA. Sure, he had his problems in Toronto, but he bounced back from injuries and has been great in New Jersey.

Underated - He's a very solid big man at the age of 20. He's a elite rebounder in the league, and he's a very powerful post player. Joe Johnson

Your a dumbass if you dont think Jason Williams is a pass-first pg. He used to be a flashy player, but now he has agreed to become more off a pure pg.JJ Redick is overrated imo. Because of what he did in college people automatically assume that he is going to be great in the NBA too. I don't buy that. He doesnt do much besides shoot to be honest. He isnt a good defender, rebounder, passer, driver, he isnt quick, strong, or athletic, and he wont get the same shots in the NBA as he did in college.
