Have fun in jail. :ghoti:

The union guys kept tearing down a tent, and a beam hit a woman on the head and sent her to the hospital. This is what happened when people tried to get the nice white union guys to stop destroying property.

Also, I suppose the "spread the wealth" message of the Dems doesn't apply when it is unions who have to share their excessive benefits with non-union workers.

Fucking hypocrites.

If unions are America's backbone......... I'd consider America spine-less.

Looks like a bunch of angry white dudes who barely got their GEDs. No wonder Zags feels so protective of his union. It's like an Aryan Nation rally.

LOL.

But, to be fair.... it's more like an Aryan Nation rally meets NRA rally. Those guys look a little more "awww shucks" red neckish than they do just straight up white power bigots.

LOL @ the hypocrytes. They voted for Obama for change and then hate the change he is making. Ahhh the life of Big Government and unions governing this free trade country.

This is my opinion. Am I doing it right?

Those union thugs! Their making too much money and banging our wives!!!

I don't get the union hate. If there were a bunch of CEOs on here who made their fortunes exploiting blue collar workers, I would understand. But I think most posters here are hard working citizens not making money off others work.

Power to the People!

And they improperly use words ("their" versus "they're"). :smiley-195517897341

They're making too much money for their education level.

But what do union workers have to do with banging wives? Don't you see the pic above? They appear to be too lazy to do anything physical, let alone bang wives.

Are you proud of your brothers? Michigan democratically elected a Republican legislature and governor. A majority of Michiganders support Right To Work legislation, so the Legislature simply reflected the public will. In response, these union protesters decided that peaceful protesting--like the Tea Party did when they opposed legislation--wasn't getting their point across, so they resorted to thuggery. Is that what you would do if you were in their place?

And I would be remiss if I didn't correct your grammar in your previous post. So as not to embarrass you, I simply fixed it in my post.

I don't hate unions. However, I think individuals should be able to choose whether or not they wish to join one. As for public unions, I think they should be outlawed.

The unions put a ballot measure on the November ballot to outlaw right to work laws. The ballot measure was handily voted down by the public/voters 58% to 42%, even though democrats gained offices throughout the state.

It is the will of the people. Elections matter. Get over it.

I'm just a dumb union honk that typed post that on my phone during break and didn't check it with the autospell. But keep rolling up your sleeves and hating on my grammar you sophisticate you...

You said it, I didn't.

Makes you wonder why the Republicans are ramming this through in a lame duck session, doesn't it?

I'd be interested to know what state's fortunes have looked up after they passed right to work laws. Also, does anyone have a comparison of prosperous states with right to work states? Presumably since unions are such a drag on the economy it would be all the successful states with rich happy people that have right to work laws. Is it?

The rhetoric following the election is elections matter. They are doing the peoples' will. No doubt about it.

I happen to like unions just fine, though I don't think the workplace is a democracy like unions make it out to be.

Last February, RTW states had an 8.3% unemployment rate while non RTW state had 9.7% Decide for yourself.

Better than ramming through a massive piece of social legislation on "reconciliation".

Better how?

Oh, and the Michigan Republicans, whose leader is this guy had such respect for Democracy that they attached some spending to this bill to take advantage of a rule that says that spending bills can't be overturned by referendum. One might almost think that they think the people might not like this.

Boo hoo. Parliamentary tricks got us ObamaCare. Goose. Gander.

Pathetic. Really, that's the best you can do? You know how unreliable unemployment statistics are, right? Besides which, you could interpret your statistic to show that people would rather be unemployed in the non RTW states because they have a better safety net.

Let's see some standard of living comparisons and average family income.
