The problem I have with Superman is that he's too powerful. The guy is basically unbeatable unless you happen to have a piece of his home planet, which somehow just keep popping up!
Unless they incorporate villains almost as powerful as him, such as other aliens, which are abundant in the comics and the many animated movies/series with Superman in them. They did it in Superman 2 (fantastic movie). There are even superheroes in the Justice League almost as powerful as Superman. The Martian Manhunter is a beast. Green Lantern can conjure anything he wants, Wonder Woman is Wonder Woman, and the Flash is
faster than Superman. Then you've got Aquaman and Batman who, as far as the Justice League goes, suck. It wouldn't make sense if there weren't alien or superhuman villains in the DC universe. What I'm trying to say is that it's not Superman's fault, he just needs to be portrayed correctly in a live action film. That hasn't happened since 1980.
