Well over half the fan base isn't worried about oregon at all.

On 247 they believe USC would be above Oregon in the BCS polls had they beat stanford.(note human polls would probably have had (1.Alabama.2 USC 3. Oregon.)

The reason they give is that they had a better strength of schedule, which shows you how little they pay attention.

If they had Beaten Stanford, at this point they would have beaten 1 team with a positive record and 6 without. As opposed to Oregon who's beaten 4 with a positive record 3 without. 17-32 overall opponents record for them as opposed to 26-25 for us. As it is the only positive team they've faced they've lost too and the games they've won have had their team go for a combined 13-29.

Pretty well known that the average USC fan is about as knowledgable as the average Laker fan.

That's because USC fan and Laker fan are the same person.

USC may see a very fired up Arizona team in the desert this weekend!

We need USC, Stanford, and OSU to keep winning until we play them.

If USC just beats Notre Dame they've done their part! I wouldn't count the Sooners out for dropping 28+ on the Priest Boys this weekend!
