Sounds like they may be interested in a 1y deal like Pouliot. This team isn't going anywhere next year so i dont even know if it's worth it. Just play the young guys and if you end up with a top 10 pick so be it.

eh, pass, he just doesn't have it anymore. He didn't play horrible last season but his numbers are declining and he's not a great defensive player

I think they should sign Martin and Kelly for the 4th line

He is a very frustrating player, but he's a right shot and if he would take a Pouliot contract I think it's at least worth thinking about. The PP would be much better with another right shot up front.

He sucks now. Only chance he has is to go back for 1 million to the Islanders and play with Tavares again.

I wouldnt write him off so quickly. 41 points in 74 games for a MIN team that couldnt score to save their lives is not all that bad. As I said above we really need a right shot, especially if Stepan is on the block. His cap hit should come low enough that we can bury most of it in HFD if he doesnt catch on. And if the Rangers are as bad next year as most of you seem to think, we can flip him at the deadline as a rental to a contender and get a draft pick back for him. Whats not to like?
