Right at the beginning of the third hour today, discussing how his height is being (in his mind) unfairly held against him in this year's draft process. Came out real fiery after a couple minutes.

Vernon Adams said:
It's not about your height; it's about your football IQ and how much you prepare for the game. It's like, I went up to the Pac-12 from, you know, Eastern Washington. You know, at first it was a little rocky. I broke my finger; I played in about two...two games with my finger broken on my throwing hand, so that's why I wasn't producing at first. But when my finger was healthy, from University of Washington all the way to TCU, you see a huge difference in my play. You see a huge difference in everything, and that's what I'm trying to pitch.

I'm not a cocky dude at all, you know what I'm saying? I'm very humble, but just to tell everybody: just put on the film when I'm not playing, and put on the film when I am playing--going back to Eastern Washington, going back to Oregon, whatever you want to go back to...I'm just gonna tell you, I'm a game changer.

I don't think interviews are going to change his draft stock at all, but I think his agent is doing a good job getting him the publicity he needs in advance of the draft.

I thought Vernon showed tremendous abilities at Oregon. Just look at how they fell apart after he was injured in their last bowl game. I hope the 49ers take him with a day 3 pick.
