Video game critic Anita Sarkeesian cancelled a speech scheduled for Wednesday at Utah State University, after schools officials received an email threatening harm to attendees.
A statement from the university said an email related to the speech contained threats to Sarkeesian and those who attended. According to The Standard Examiner, the e-mail's author threatened to unleash "the deadliest school shooting in American history," adding that "feminists have ruined my life and I will have my revenge, for my sake and the sake of all the others they've wronged."
