Vince Carter for Luol Deng

I've been very sick since last Wednesday. I've had 102+ fever, dizzyness, sore throat, etc....I am still quite sick. This morning I started hallucinating that I was in a phone conference with Bulls GM and Rod Thorn.

I kept telling the Bull's GM, "Vince Carter goes to your team, you can motivate him to become the next Jordan. Carter is 31 years old right now, Jordan started winning championships around this time. Carter comes to the Bulls, voila, five to six championships, just like that."

Thorn and Bulls GM agreed to to a VC for Deng swap.


I think that Deng would be out of place on the Nets given that Jefferson cover his position nicely.

The trade would not work straight up because Deng is still on his Rookie contract. The Bulls would have to package other guys.
