The Rio Grande Valley Vipers topped the Sioux Falls Skyforce 127-106 tonight at State Farm Arena. Tonight's win gives the Vipers their longest win streak of the season, eight games.

Andrew Goudelock led the Vipers with 27 points. Terrence Jones contributed 16 points. Tyler Honeycutt and D.J. Kennedy each added 13 points. Chris Johnson and Mike Singletary recorded 12 points each. Glen Rice, Jr. added 10 points.

Jarvis Varnado led the Skyforce with 29 points, 13 rebounds. Mychel Thompson followed with 23 points. James Mays added 18 points, and Andre Barrett contributed 11 points.

Barrett opened the first quarter with a shot from behind the arc to put the Skyforce up 3-0. Sioux Falls' lead did not last long. With 8:29 on the clock, Goudelock sunk a basket to put the Vipers up 9-8 and RGV never looked back. By the end of the quarter, the Vipers led 39-23. At the half, RGV held the 70-50 advantage.

Sioux Falls closed their deficit to 13 points, 83-70 on a layup from Thompson in the third quarter, but once again, RGV broke away. Jones connected on a layup to put the Vipers ahead 85-70 with 3:37 on the clock in the third. Both RGV and Sioux Falls scored 26 points in the third quarter; however RGV held a 96-76 lead at the end of the quarter.

Toure Murry gave the Vipers largest lead of the game was 24 points, 109-85 midway through the fourth quarter. Sioux Falls scored 30 points to RGV's 31 points in the fourth, but the Skyforce were not able to close their deficit. RGV won 127-106.

RGV will close out the 2012-13 NBA Development League regular-season next weekend when they host the Austin Toros April 5 and 6. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at State Farm Arena both days.
