They better watch their ass. If they lose both against Boston. They have to play us 3 times, Washington 3 times and Philly once. Their lead could evaporate quickly. .

The Islanders because of the style they play ran Out of gas this time last year before Covid saved them. I would not be surprised if they lose the next six out of seven

Islanders will be back in range soon if this team wins the next two vs the devils.
Even after today the Rangers will be 8 points behind the Isles still. Highly doubtful they get back in range with only 12 games left.
After today we will have earned a point in nine of ten (7-1-2) and in 15 of our last 19 games (12-4-3).
Since March 13th, which coincides with Artemi Panarin’s return from a leave of absence, the Rangers have amassed 27 points. That’s three more than the first place Capitals and third place Penguins. It is also seven more points than the second place Islanders and five more than the fourth place Bruins.
Future is crazy bright. Going to be a big offseason as well as I expect Gorton to put the finishing touches on this team, including at least one big move.
Great time to be a Rangers fan, even though in reality the playoffs have been a big longshot, at best, for a while now. We won't be in our current position for many years. Fun times ahead starting this summer.
