A US boat entered Cuban territorial water. Ordered to stop by Cuban Coast Guard, instead they opened fire. Cuba returned fire. Four people killed and six injured. Injured taken to hospital in Cuba.
Demands for investigation by Republicans. Not of boat under US flag entering Cuban waters, not of occupants firing on Cubans, but on Cuba for shooting back.
Gulf of Tonkin, anyone?

Seems more like Bay of Pigs to me.

Bay of Pigs was US engineered invasion. Tonkin was pretext for going to war.
Trump really wants that Nobel Peace Prize and he will keep starting wars until they give it to him

I don't think it works that way.

Cuba has no oil, no coal, no natural gas, and limited hydroelectric capacity. They are dependent on imported oil. Trump imposed blockade of oil to Cuba and is openly talking about "taking" Cuba, I guess so he can win Peace prize. There is no military or economic or security reason for war with Cuba. Just that Trump wants it.
Reports that patients on respirators in Cuban hospital all died when power outage shut off respirators.
Isn't democracy great?
