So now DOD is saying 34 soldiers were injured in the rocket attack from Iran. Brain injuries.

But Trump isn't concerned:

“I heard that they had headaches and a couple of other things,” he said. “But I would say, and I can report, it is not very serious, not very serious.”

Something doesn't smell right here.

My son said they send concussion cases to hospitals in Germany.

My son said they send concussion cases to hospitals in Germany.

And they did send 17 to Germany; 8 of those have now been sent back to the US for more treatment.

It's puzzling how 'nobody was hurt' has become '34 were hurt'. Someone isn't good at counting.

I think I'll call it "fighting off" from now on in his honor.

Now it is up to 50 servicepeople with traumatic brain injuries from the Iran missile attack.

Yup, like I read/heard somewhere, with respect to the military, often times "initial reports" are inaccurate.

I completely understand why Trump doesn't think the brain injuries to our service people are very serious when you compare them to his damaged brain.

Wait, what?...."Trump lies?"....FAKE NEWS ! FAKE NEWS !

Hard to believe, but according to one service, Trump lies about 65% of the time.

The same service, using the same standards, found Obama to be much more truthful. He was only lieing to us 25% of the time.

Does that number include his tweets? :bgrin:

I don’t think Trump lies more than Obama did. I’d account for the apparent difference as 25% lies and 40% “I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about”.

What are you basing this 65% to be only 25% lies and 40% being clueless? This is a guy that's has been proven to lie or mislead over 16,000 times since he took office. With trump it's rather easy to see all of his lies because many of them are in writing with his tweets. Brings back the old saying, say it forget it write it regret it. I would say it's 65% lies and about 35% I have no idea what I am talking about.

I thought I was being humorous, but I guess that this place is a bit touchy these days. I'd be willing to say that Trump has no idea about the real facts of 90% of what he expounds upon.

USE THE GREEN FONT DAMN IT. J/K

Bone spurs. He does not think it is very serious compared to bone spurs.
You laugh but those awful bone spurs limited his golf to 36 rounds a day.

Trump says Iran planning 'sneak attack' on US troops, assets in Iraq
By Ronn Blitzer | Fox News

President Trump said Wednesday that Iran is planning a "sneak attack" on U.S. troops or "assets" in Iraq, warning the country will pay a "heavy price" if this happens.

The president made the abrupt announcement in a tweet Wednesday afternoon, coming amid lingering tensions between the two countries over past confrontations as well as the coronavirus pandemic.

IRANIAN PRISONERS RIOT, SMASH CAMERAS AS COUNTRY'S CORONAVIRUS DEATH TOLL RISES

"Upon information and belief, Iran or its proxies are planning a sneak attack on U.S. troops and/or assets in Iraq. If this happens, Iran will pay a very heavy price, indeed!" Trump tweeted.

Trump’s tweet came soon after he attended an intelligence briefing at noon at the White House.

Sources told Fox News that the U.S. believes Iranian-backed proxies were planning the sneak attack, and that Trump's tweet was a warning to the Iranian leadership to tell their proxies to back down or face consequences

In late March, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated that Iran had refused American aid for addressing the coronavirus pandemic.

Pompeo also condemned Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for spreading conspiracy theories that the U.S. was responsible for the outbreak, and pointed out Iran's own misdeeds that exacerbated the spread of the virus.

The latest tension comes several months after hostilities between the U.S. and Iran that included an attack at the U.S. Embassy compound in Iraq that U.S. officials blamed on Iran. In response, the U.S. carried out a strike that resulted in the death of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Prior to the embassy attack, U.S. airstrikes against an Iranian-backed Shiite militia in Iraq, which the U.S. military said was retaliation for the killing of an American contractor in a rocket attack on an Iraqi military base that it had blamed on the militia.

Fox News' John Roberts and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
