Heather Watson advanced to the quarter-finals of the Bell Challenge in Quebec with a hard-fought win over Sweden's Sofia Arvidsson.
The Brit broke her opponent's serve six times, but still needed four match points to end Arvidsson's resistance and seal a 7-5 6-3 victory in a match lasting an hour and 35 minutes.
