It was billed as The Final Denial, a chance for Toronto Rock fans to honour the brilliant 15-year career of goalie Bob Watson, who is calling it quits at the end of the season.
And a season-best crowd of 15,084 turned out, many sporting large paper goalie masks to cheer the man who’s been here since Day One and led the team to five titles.
