I personally think Lil Wayne sucks. I hate his little whiney voice, and I don't think he's anything that special if he doesn't have a crazy beat behind him... just like 9/10 "rappers" that come out nowadays. All this talk about him being "the best rapper alive" or anything close to that is just laughable, to me.</p>

He might have a point. Lil' Wayne's rise to the top in the last two and a half years is remarkable. I don't think he is close to Jay-Z or 2Pac, but I do enjoy several of his songs.</p>

You guys would hate living in New Orleans. All I hear these days is Wayne, at bars, clubs, parties, etc.

I had tickets to a Wayne show on campus recently, but coming off of seeing the Roots and Mos Def the night before I just scalped my tickets, made ridiculous profit, and took my date out to dinner --- no regrets.</p>
