Its like watching the 1962 Mets & CC is just taking over where he left off at the end of last year.

Experts predicted he was toast and was looking at another 5.00+ ERA season.

At this pace C.C. is going to have a 36.00 ERA, and set a Yankee or MLB record or wild pitches, and Walks.

the Yanks look like they're playing Little League, and will set a record for Errors, or be the worst Defensive Team in both Leagues...shit...we waited six months for this shit???

At least seeing Reggie and Ryan sitting together, is a classic moment, better a highlight than how the Yanks are playing or rather not playing. shit shit and shit........did I say SHIT....!!!!!!

Sabathia needs to put on 50 pounds. He was better as a slob.

And here I thought Phil Hughes was no longer a Yankee.

My exact thought too Messiah, where the hell did the big guys gun go? Down the toilet with those 50 lbs. Someone get him to a smorgasbord, better yet, keep one in the clubhouse!!!

Yep, Hughes is wearing a Sabathia mask, and has learned how to throw left handed....this guy is a impostor.

You forgot about the nice tan also.

You forgot about the nice tan*** also.
see note: *** at bottom of page.

You called it Rick...

Not only can Hughes not pitch right handed, he can't left handed either. I know he wasn't Sabathia, when I saw ho thin he was compared to the Sabathia we all knew, who was 50 lbs. heavier. Sabathia is sitting in the Bahamas somewhere, while Hughes impersonates him, and the two split C.C.'s paychecks. Yes, that was a Fraud on the mound. I only pray we never see another sloppy game by this impostor. Obviously Sabathia, if that was him on the mound, is a very far cry from the finesse pitching mind of Greg Maddux, who didn't need to throw harder than 89 mph, and still win 5 Cy Youngs.

NOTE: ***Well, I thought about how to express that tan, but was at a loss for words, , and thinking some might get offended, or cry foul, but I heard Phil uses a spray on tan. C.C. Hughes matched up his tan to C.C.s tan, like one would at Home Depot or paint stores, to match the exact color using computer aided color spectrometry, to create the perfect tan. I hear they now make pre-filled spray bottles labeled for color matches, of celebrity's who have nice tans. They have those pre-filled spray cans on the shelves now; with tan matches of Jessica Alba, George Hamilton'' or Hollywood Sutna Booth type of year round tans.. They have Pudge and Manny Ramirez in those pre-filled cans, labeled by celebrity on the shelves. Rick Rhoden-(ghost white color), special order tho'.

...the first 2 innings were really ugly to say the least. The box score shows only 1 error but there they could have been charged with more. But after the horrible beginning the pitching was good. Jeter's mobility looked good and Tex's health appears to be OK and seeing him beating the shift by going the other way was also encouraging. These are all issues that many of us are concerned about. The Yanx' pitching, defense, and offense took the first 2 innings off and even against a team like Houston, that's a recipe for disaster, and it was.

...just trying to look for some positives in a loss.

Good points Ron & yeah, those 1st two innings between the hits, the HRs, the bobbled balls, McCann air mail throw over the head of Johnson I could swear I was watching the 62 Mets. But after that things looked okay. And definitely you have to be pleased by what you saw on Jeter & Tex. Lets kick some Astro ass tonight.

Lets hope that Hiroki San turns the corner tonight, Johnson looked good on 3rd Base D last night.
