I think Magic are beating the Lakers in the Finals next year. But I think the Blazers are good enough (because of the Miller signing, everyone playing at a high level for a year, and Oden improving) to make it to the WCF.

Last year I would have given the Blazers a 1% shot. This year, I would say 6%. That's a big improvement.

I would have gone 5% last season and 10% this season. I think next season, assuming this season goes as I expect, Portland will be at the 25% level...which would make them one of the top title contenders.

Since the players will be locked out, and there will be either no season or a sharply abreviated one (where any weird, random thing can happen), I'd say it is 2010-2011 or bust.
