<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No, but most people dunk with their right foot, or do the long jump off their right foot. I do min off the left foot.</div>What most people do you hang out with? Most people dunking with their right foot would require them to use their left hand on the dunk assuming they need all the extension they can get to finish the dunk (which is the case for most people in high school or below) and maybe they are left handed or prefer using their left. Taking a long jump, again, if you are talking about basketball, you need the most extension you can get to get your body farther, assuming you are using your right hand, you will jump with your left. If you are using your left hand, then you would jump with your right. And again, because you are supposed to use the opposite foot on a layup, basketball players that like using the right hand on layups tend to use their left leg for jumping a lot (like me). Unless you don't use the correct fundmentals while playing basketball, jumping with your left foot more than your right when you are right handed isn't anything weird. Now, if you jumped with your left leg a lot and you did so during left handed layups, that would be weird because people are trained not to do that (same leg, same hand on layup).
