we had one two way spot open I think...that's probably where we used it

I was surprised to see how well he moves with the ball. Pretty damn athletic.

Does it seem like Cronin has decided not to keep waiting til after Lillard is traded to see who is coming back? He's decided he better start building a roster. Moses Brown and now Knox. How many spots are still open?

Knox makes 14 so no more spots that we have to fill but we can take on one more.

Neither project to be valuable role guys so they're not worth arguing about.

At least Wat was an interesting scorer and passer. Man without home defensively. Too slow to play the perimeter and impossible to build good defensive lineups with him at 5.

Knox is smooth, long and can shoot a little bit I don't see what he does at even an average NBA level.

Haven't been a believer in him since early in his Kentucky days.

I disagree with you here.

Watford was underrated for what he contributed
yeah...we disagree. I think Watford was a good distributor with a motor for sure...to me he's a classic tweener. Glad he got a shot in the east but I liked Knox more than Trendon as a project.

I'm just glad to see us have a roster start to form.

Knox is the type of player who can be elevated by a passing point guard like Scoot Henderson.

The passing point guard keeps Knox from doing too much with the ball, and allows him to focus on getting to the right spot and putting the ball in the bucket.

In this game Knox had 30 points (11-15, 5-8 on threes) and 11 rebounds.

Knox, at age 24, on his 4th team -- NY pre-Brunson, Atlanta, Detroit, Portland -- and his most "impactful" was his rookie season as the 9th pick in the 2018 draft.
In 2016, nbadraftroom was complimentary of Knox with no particular negatives. A direct quote:
"Comparisons Reminds of a more skilled version of Ron Mercer, with some Paul George in his game. Kevin Knox’ floor is Jerami Grants’ ceiling."

[Agree to disagree on that one.]

A good read.

I can’t even click on that highlight reel. Anything from the past few seasons is no way to judge these players. Our games were glorified summer league games or city league scrimmages.

The highlight game was against the Clippers on April 8th when they were 1/2 game behind Golden State with 2 games left in the season.

Seems like a bit more than a glorified summer league game.

One thing I can judge. Eric Gordon doesn't affect Knox when he's shooting the ball.

My guess is Knox could be a solid bench player. I did not think so at first, but he looked much better the more he played.
I think he can guard big SFs and stretch 4s. He is a decent rebounder and shooter. I would not be scared to play him
