What's wrong with saving money and eloping? Worked for me. Worked for my parents. Eloping just means that you go to a minister or Las Vegas wedding chapel and get it done and have no guests.

After reading that i'm appalled that the mother in law would send that, but if whats in that e-mail true the bride has some problems too. Sounds like both are kind of stuck up and I defiantly wouldn't want to be the groom in the middle of that.

The mother-in-law is a hypocritical bitch. She pounds on the future bride for basically not being tactful (lacks manners) as a guest and not having common sense about the wedding. Yet here she, her son loves this woman and is ready to commit to her for the rest of his life, writes an email that will clearly divide famlies and put her own son in a position noone would ever want to be . . . basically creating a living nightmare for her own son.

Very tactful there mom, you showed just as much common sense as someone wanting a wedding in a castle. Maybe your son should point this out to you in an email and have it posted on the internet.
