Have you tried Grillo's Pickles? Without knowing what Mrs. Neuschin's were like, who knows if they will compare, but they are pretty damn good! In the store they won't be with the other pickles, they're in the refrigerated fruit/veggies section. I recommend giving them a try, especially the Hot flavor if you like that sort of thing. This reminds me of my never ending search for a kosher pickle that equals the old Mrs. Neuschin dill pickles produced on SW College st. in Portland. Those were so delicious that I am on a never ending search for an adequate replacement which I will make if required. So far the best I can find are Bubbies and they are s poor substitute.
Are they naturally fermented? They must be naturally fermented with just a bit of a kick of cayenne to spice them up a little. They should be whole.Have you tried Grillo's Pickles? Nope, no familiarity at all. Just suggesting a pickle I enjoy. Wow that sounds bad.Are they naturally fermented? They must be naturally fermented with just a bit of a kick of cayenne to spice them up a little. They should be whole.
Are you familiar with Mrs. Neuschin's? That makes a difference.

Portland Pickles mascot costume missing after front porch heist.
The costume was in luggage lost by an airline on a team trip. After the missing suitcase was dropped off Tuesday evening, someone stole the bag off the porch.
