Wow. This is the first time I have really watched him play (like extended minutes and multiple games.) Shaq may be right - he is the perfect big man.

It must be what it was like to face Wilt, especiallyin the early '60s.

That was a championship team we just played. OKC has nothing on them.

Agreed, but people probably thought the same about Ralph Sampson.

In the long run, i think you are right. But they wont win it all this year. They will learn from it and win next year and every season they can stay healthy.
Okc has it this year.

Denver actually gives SA some problems, and if they can get past Minnesota, than the Nuggets/Spurs should be a hell of a series, especially if Aaron Gordon can stay healthy. Jokic being able to shoot 3s forces Wemby out of the paint and the Spurs defense doesn't look nearly as good when that happens. Not saying the Nuggets will beat them but it would be interesting to watch. I still think it's the Thunder's title to lose at this point and until someone takes that from them, then to think anyone else is the favorite is foolish.

I've stood next to and watched up close many of the top players from the past 30 years of the NBA and the only two guys that truly left me thinking that they are not human are Shaq and Wemby. Both guys look straight out of Space Jam but as one of the MonStars! Humans that big should not move the way that those two do!

Sorry guess not right next to but I have a job that allows me to have been in close proximity to many of the big name guys, plus was lucky enough to sit courtside to see some of the big names over the years.

I really like the playoffs this year. Legit five teams could win it all.

Wemby let Jrue pull the chair on him and dribbled his skull on the floor a couple of times. I'd say that and being down 20 in several first halves and getting beaten once weren't "tecnical enough for him? right.......He's a super talented skinny giant but he should shut the fuck up about technical enough.This guy seems like a total dweeb who wouldn't shake his opponent's hand. Wemby was not wrong we ran the same play over and over and over again will maybe small wrinkles in it but for the most part I believe the team's offense is very predictable. I know the in thing right now is to rip on Wemby but he was not telling a lie and if you cannot accept that then it's a YOU problem.

If this Spurs series did not get certain fans to remove there heads from there ASS then again it's a YOU issue cause the Spurs exposed this team and instead of ripping on Wemby etc etc be grateful that we have a better idea who stay and who maybe needs a trade out of town. I realize some fans are like in Cronin we trust or have players they are ride and die with and that's fine to be a fan of example Sharpe but do not put your head in the sand and tell me it's not raining when I can feel it on my head.

I am done being nice to fans who are content with average to below average just cause they are afraid that the team might make a mistake like maybe trading Sharpe and he blows up. Sometimes you have to make risks and sometimes they pay off and sometimes they do not but you cannot be paralyzed by fear and do little to nothing. This team has played that game for YEARS now even with Dame and look where we are as a team a notch maybe 2 below where we were with Dame in his prime.

I think if we just played the maybe SO and SO would get better cards this team would at best be a 6th to 9th seed team and I for one am sick and fucking tired of seeing the same offseason play out offseason after offseason. I am ready to get off that fucking ride and I believe other fans are too.

The only thing predictable about this offense is that we can't shoot the 3, make free throws or pass the ball well. Otherwise we get up more shots than most teams. As far as not being nice to Blazer fans, I believe in choice. I've never understood how someone would follow a team that long without enjoying it but I guess it happens. My mom was a lifelong Cubs fan...saw them win it just before she died. I've enjoyed many many decades of Blazers...not so much the Chauncey era but Tiago gave the team some identity even without a pt guard most of the season. I respect that. Blazers aren't a "problem" in my life but hey...that's fine. I'd trade Sharpe in a heartbeat for what it's worth.

Also me saying not being nice means I am not going to pull my punches in pointing out how stupid that mind set is etc.

Huh? Spurs were never down 20 to us, let alone “several” times.

I am allowed to be annoyed with certain PoV's and you saying that people with different opinions are a sign of mental deficiency is crap. This argument about Wemby getting away with is silly when you look at the league as a whole.

The reason for this is watch every major mega star and we all know they get fouls for the cheapest shit ever and guess what it might not be right or even fair but that is today's NBA. If your going to whine about Wemby then you better whine about every NBA mega star in the game cause they are ALL getting these types of calls. -- PERIOD

Time to make a topic called NBA mega stars and the the crap calls they keep getting or something -- LOL
