Canada has just completed it's own military satellite to complement the British SkyNet5, the new satellite, the SKYCAN5 is entirely comprised of hockey sticks, bacon, and maple syrup as the adhesive, it is a large improvement over the previous model, SKYCAN4 which was mainly composed of pinecones and used jockstraps.

I met a guy from the UK last night at a Sonnys BBQ....he was a very friendly blok(look how he has me talking) who wanted to know all about the space program and was really excited about the Shuttle coming back this morning(which scared the crap out of me, like it always does when it came in)....he was most impressed with the price we pay for beer(he said for the same "pint" of Bud he was drinking and paid $2.50 for, he would have paid $7 for in England) and the price of gas($3.96 a gallon, he said its over $10 back home)....after the meal, and after he had downed 3 very large glasses of Bud, he wanted to go to a "Pub" and I gave him directions to a few that were close.....if I had been a younger man and not out with my wife, I can imagine that he and I would have gone bar hopping all night and international hilarity would have ensued....oh, to be young again....but, I do agree that theres very little diffence between an american and a brit, outside of our definitions of football and the price we pay for ale....

There are some guys outside my door with sunglasses and dark suits... I thought it was another Blues Brothers movie, but now I'm not so sure.
