Lakers: 1-5
Blazers: 2-5
Spurs: 1-5
Clippers: 1-3

Only two teams in the West have a .500 or better record on the road, OKC and Denver.

This season is such a mess that it really doesnt surprise me. Maybe more drastic than I thought but home wins are so so so important this. Thanks for posting that.

Some good prospective there, condensed schedule is brutal, and were just getting started.

Guessing were gonna need HCA to advance this year...

Makes me feel better to see others struggling too. Got some lesser competition now. I'm hoping for a four game win streak going into the GS game. 12-6 is a fine record.

That sure would be nice. For that matter if we played over .600 ball for the rest of the season I would be estatic.

I don't think home court advantage will matter as much in the playoffs as it is now in the regular season. Right now teams spend so much time traveling, playing more games in more nights on the road, and jumping to multiple various cities on the road it takes a toll on the team on the court. At home players only have to drive a few minutes to the arena then a few minutes home and they can rest all night.

But in the playoffs games are spaced out, you only have to travel to one city and you stay there for awhile. The home team will have a much smaller advantage.

With the 66 game season I think final standings are going to be very close, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if theres multiple first round upsets. In the '99 strike season the #8 seed Knicks went to the finals, it could be that type of year again.

Probably will just be our luck, we finally get HCA as the #2 seed or something hoping to finally end the first round exit streak only to face a red hot #7 seed team that beats us and wins the title.

You are right. A 2 seed might not mean much though I'd still like it. We play better at home by a mile. As for rest during the playoffs, I believe the league announced that there may be some back to backs in the second round.

A nice thread with perspective with the use of statistics. Rare type of thread here.

Much better than "Ass Clown"

It's funny, my first reaction when I read this list was that it's the answer to this question: "Who will be the 4 bottom playoff seeds in the West"

Who's going to be top 4? Utah and Denver? Lol

Lakers continue their road woes. Getting mopped up by Orlando right now.

Denver I'd say probably ... Utah, probably not.

I guess I just don't see it. I don't think Denver can sustain it with a run and gun team with a bunch of chuckers. When they start playing good teams they'll fall down to earth.

Blazers now 3-5. Lakers going to be 1-6.

It could be worse guys. We could be Laker fans....

They've beaten Miami, Utah, Dallas, Lakers, and the 76ers...
