I’m having some people over and got a bunch of pork ribs from Costco. Gonna use a Japanese bbq sauce. Starting the traeger at 6am for those bad boys.

Wife is making a couple pitchers of mojitos.

No fireworks. Hate the fucking things.

I'm with HCP on this one...nothing patriotic to celebrate this year. Just the wife and I will stay home and have corn on the cobb and oysters tomorrow with some smoked trout soup and rice with cherry turnovers. Garden salad and Taiwanese style steamed eggs. Wife gets the day off for the holiday.

Yes, the current administration has made a mockery and an embarrassment out of our country. I don't agree with the majority of things they have done or are doing. I celebrate what this country is supposed to be, and what I hope it one day becomes.

Not sure, but I do know this. I had breakfast yesterday at a diner located inside a Toyota dealership that had people sitting in massage chairs all over.
Was pretty crazy.

Then home for kafta kebabs, Zucchini and baby new red potatoes on the Traeger, with a couple of adult beverages to provide supervision. How stupid is Nancy Mace? Jamie Raskin issued a "preamble" to big ugly bill modeled on Declaration of Independence. Mace got unhappy. Raskin was demeaning Declaration of Independence, which wasn't an indictment.

After preamble the entire Declaration is a list of crimes of King George. It is exactly an indictment. Maybe instead of making transphobic restroom signs the Congresswoman should actually read the country's founding document.
