Maybe he's soft like a quilt?

The title of this thread got me to open it under false pretenses. I came here looking for a good discussion on how to get great abs. I've got a good start with my one-pack. Only five more to go.

I'm always a little skeptical when someone doesn't press criminal charges and goes for the payday.

He's a piece of shit human, who refuses to pay hard working people for services rendered, so gun to my head, he's guilty. It's rare that a false sexual assault charge is filed

Why not go to the police? If there is enough evidence....
Its a really hard subject to talk about. As someone who has some experience with that in my immediate family, there is fear, manipulation, a lot of mental blocks that can keep people from going forward. I know that many of our minds our logical thought is oh just go to tell the authorities or whatever, but for many people who go through that its something that doesnt make logical sense, because the emotional side effects chip away at some of the more logical responses.

That said I have no idea what AB did or didnt do, or why this person is claiming it now, what changed to make her come forward. These type of stories I choose to just listen, and wait and hope that the truth whatever it is, comes forward.

Shame
Denial
Low self esteem

Criminal cases are MUCH harder to prove......see Orenthal.

At this point, the alleged victim might just be trying to hurt Brown....if it happened, I wouldn't blame her.

If AB is found guilty in civil court, that would be devastating to him. Much more likely to happen than in criminal court.

Orenthal was let off because the LAPD bungled the investigation, and because of racial tensions in that city.

Some of it may also be battered woman syndrome. I know of some women who experienced it and it just blows my mind they think they are to blame when they are really the victim.
